I am an illustrator living and working in Bath, although I spent many years in Brighton, where I did a Degree in Illustration in the early 90s.
I have always been inspired by the darker side of life and am intrigued by macabre themes and grim fairytales. I am a regular contributor to Dark Lane Magazine, which is a collection of eerie short stories and poetry.
My most popular work seems to be British Wildlife, particularly the Hare. I am interested in folklore, myths and legends and often include text in my illustrations.
I use oil pastel on paper, layered with lino ink, which
is then scratched away to create complex artwork with areas of fine detail.
